Following the Covid-19 pandemic, the university requirements for work experience have changed drastically and will continue to change. Fewer hospitals accept students to undergo work experience, and Covid-19 regulations make finding work experience extremely challenging. This one-day virtual work experience event has been designed around the latest university requirements for work experience to give students access to real doctors inside real hospitals, from the comfort of their own home.
Nobody would want to go for a career in medicine without understanding the realities behind the profession and what it's like on a daily basis. The LIVE Survey Work Experience is a one-day virtual event where school students (Year 9 to Year 13) join the surgeons' team in a London hospital and follow a LIVE patient pathway: from admission to the operating theatre...all from the comfort of their own home!
Step in the surgeons' shoes, get taught by doctors from some of the world's best universities (Oxford, UCL and Imperial College London), learn the ins and outs of surgery and make your medical school application stand out.
